2-TRACE MONITOR*
The large 5.5-inch non-fade cardiac defibrillator monitor with exclusive 2-trace capability assures that real-time continuous monitoring is never lost. Even when using the freeze capability, critical real-time patient information is constantly displayed on the first trace while the second trace is frozen for a closer examination of ECG data.
Only the TEC-7000A Series has the capability of providing 8 seconds of ECG data continuously on the monitor at one time. This gives the user twice as much time to recognize, capture, analyze or record a significant event before it is lost from the screen.

*ANNOTATED RECORDING*
The TEC-7000A Series has a built-in thermal array recorder which automatically or manually records all of the data displayed on the CRT. Automatic recording is started when the CHARGE button is pushed and continues for 15 seconds after discharge. Heart rate alarm violations will also trigger automatic recordings.

*ADVANCED THERMAL ARRAY RECORDER*
All recordings are made using the technologically advanced thermal array recorder. This technology allows full alphanumeric print capability on both the upper and lower margins of the chart paper without any sacrifice of waveform resolution. The thermal array recorder eliminates the problem of stylus burnout and replacement.
*TELEMETRY MONITOR OPTION*
The TEC-7000A Series is designed to be more than just a basic defibrillator/cardioverter. By using the telemetry options, the TEC-7000A Series becomes:
A BACK-UP BEDSIDE/ER MONITOR
With the optional telemetry receiver mounted on the TEC7000A Series, the patient's ECG can be continuously monitored. Nihon Kohden's telemetry transmitter sends clear ECG signals from the patient to the defibrillator monitor and provides a high quality back-up or ER monitor unit.
A TRANSPORT MONITOR
The TEC-7000A Series becomes the ideal transport monitor with its battery operation and the optional defibrillator-mounted ECG transmitter. The transmitter will send clear ECG signals from the defibrillator monitor to a Nihon Kohden telemetry receiver.
*12-LEAD ECG CAPABILITY*
The TEC-7000A Series can record 12 leads via its 5-wire patient cable. The LEAD key on the front panel selects the desired lead (I, II, III, aVR, aVL, aVF, and V) for recording. The selected lead is displayed on the CRT for quick identification.
*PORTABLE AND COMPACT*
The TEC-7000A Series has the monitor, recorder, battery and AC power/recharger all built into one 27 lb. unit. A convenient carrying handle is provided for emergency transport.
*3-WAY POSITIONING CAPABILITY*
The compact size (13.5"W X 7.7"H X 14.5"D), light weight (27 lbs) and convenient design allows the TEC-7000A Series defibrillators to be positioned on the base, side or back. This convenience allows the units to be used on large or small crash carts, gurneys or special purpose beds and permits constant unobstructed viewing of the monitor.
*SIMPLIFIED 2-STEP OPERATION*
1)AUTOMATIC POWER ON
Setting the energy level (3 - 360 joules) automatically turns the unit on.
2)ENERGY CHARGE
Charging is activated by either the CHARGE button on the front panel of the unit or the CHARGE button on the apex paddle.
*ONE-STEP ENERGY LEVEL ADJUSTMENT*
Even after charging, the energy level can be quickly increased or decreased by turning the energy selection dial. The energy level adjusts automatically (without discharging) by adding or subtracting only the necessary energy to achieve the desired level.
*PADDLE CONTACT INDICATOR*
(TEC-7200A ONLY)
The paddle contact indicator, located on the sternum paddle, alerts the user to the contact quality between the paddle electrodes and patient. The LED indicators automatically light when CHARGE is activated.
